and welcome!
Think of this page as your one stop shop for all things puppy preparation. Here you will find links to materials and tools that will help as you organise yourself prior to your puppy's arrival. Remember, if you ever have any questions or worries, I am only a phone call, email or text away!

TO - DO LIST
Contact vets in your local area to find out if you may need to join a waiting list for the practice. Some will need you to register interest whilst others will just say to call them when you know the date of your puppy's arrival home.
Look into puppy classes in your local area and see if you're able to sit in on one to get a feel for the trainer's approach and how sessions are managed.
Use insurance comparison websites to get a feel for prices and what type of cover you may choose to go for when the time comes.
Identify potential groomers in your local area. Find out if they are currently fully booked, operate a waiting list or are able to take on new clients - and also how far in advance you need to be booking your visits.
Think ahead: Any holidays planned? Good dog sitters can be booked up to a year in advance. Start putting feelers out now for options so that you aren't panicking a few months before your trip.
